T.O. missed practice again with sore toe

One day after he tested his sprained toe during a 20-minute workout, Terrell Owens missed another day of practice.

But Bills coach Dick Jauron did not think it as a setback. He said that Owens required more treatment and was told to stay off his feet. The 20 minutes of practice on previous day was just a test. Owens just still experienced discomfort standing after taking part in stretches and individual drills during practice Monday night.

“It was just kind of a test,” Jauron said. “We were hoping he could maybe do the same thing today, but we didn’t have any preconceived notions.”

After he jammed his toe in the 21-18 loss to Tennessee in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 9, Owens missed totally five of six practices and a preseason game against Chicago Bears.
