Updated Colts players’ status

Updated Colts players’ status on Tuesday included two injured, one released and one resigned.

The two injured were two cornerbacks Kelvin Hayden and Marlin Jackson. According to what coach Jim Caldwell said Tuesday after the Colts’ final night practice of training camp, Hayden injured his hamstring and would have to be out for three to four weeks. And Jackson came through tendinitis in his surgically repaired right knee, but he still managed to finish the practice.

The Colts released running back Walter Mendenhall to make roster room for signing defensive end Josh Thomas, who used to play for the Colts for three years.
