K. Martin may stay with Kings

There does not seem too much hope for any team who has interest in the Sacramento Kings shooting guard Kevin Martin that they could get the player, as the Kings president Geoff Petrie’s recent remarks indicated that the Kings may do something to keep Martin in Sacramento.

According to The Sacramento Bee, Petrie said it would be very possible that the team will just let the trading deadline pass without any deal of Martin being done. Averaging 20.2 points for the Kings this season, Martin certainly has attracted interests from other teams. And about possible deals to be made by other teams, Petrie said “we’ll take a hard look at it.”

Yeah, there will be a hard look, and a look only unless the player makes his own mind to leave. But the organization at the moment has the confidence that Martin will be glad to continue wearing his current NBA jersey.
