Lakers forward Pau Gasol plans to play road games

The Los Angeles Lakers Spaniard forward Pau Gasol plans to wear back his NBA jersey for the team’s upcoming road games in Texas after missing four consecutive games with a strained right hamstring.

Missing Sunday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Gasol is hoping that he could return to practice as soon as possible. According to Lakers Coach Phil Jackson, Gasol experienced soreness after running on a treadmill Saturday.

“He hasn’t had any significant pain at all doing anything else before this,” Jackson said, adding he was concerned because Gasol takes a while to return from injuries.

Of course he had to be concern. Gasol missed the season’s first 11 games because of a strained left hamstring. Who knows how many troubles the strain on right hamstring would cause?
