Dolphins LB Taylor is not in hurry to return

According to reports by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Miami Dolphins linebacker Jason Taylor will be out for at least three months after undergoing an arthroscopic shoulder surgery and it may take longer before he could wear back NFL jerseys to resume normal workouts.

35-year-old Taylor is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 5, but it doesn’t appear he’ll be signing anywhere soon. According to his agent, Gary Wichard, Taylor will be sidelined “three months or so,” putting his return sometime in May — the period in which most teams conduct organized team activities.

Although it is still uncertain whether Taylor could remain a Dolphins linebacker, he has said that he wants to return for his 14th NFL season in Miami. By so far the Dolphins team officials have not shown any intention of retaining Taylor.
