Chiefs plans of training in Missouri was approved by the state

The Kansas City Chiefs was allowed to hold training camps in Missouri for at least 10 years as Missouri officials approved the deal Thursday.

Last December, Gov. Jay Nixon's administration approved the deal of allowing the Chiefs to train in Missouri over 5 years, with a exchange of tax credits of $25 million. They finally extended the span to 10 years.

The Chiefs plan to move their summer camp to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph next year, from current camp location, University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
