Jaguars offering half-season ticket packages

In an effort to boost ticket sales in a economically difficult time, the Jacksonville Jaguars are offering half-season packages for half price.

The Jaguars unveiled the new packages Monday, allowing fans to purchase season tickets to five of the team’s 10 home games for $200.

One package includes games against Tampa Bay (preseason), Indianapolis, Arizona, St. Louis and Buffalo. The other one includes games against Miami (preseason), Washington, Tennessee, Kansas City and Houston. No games againt players wearing oakland raiders jersey.

The Jaguars made the new offer because they faces several television blackouts this season. Furthermore, ticket sales have slumped in recent years, even if they have owner Wayne Weaver cover up nearly 10,000 seats to lower ticket sales.
