11 Colts will not be available for preseason opener Friday night

On Friday night, the Indianapolis Colts will play against the Minnesota Vikings, however, 11 players, including five starters, will not be seen playing in colts jerseys on the game field, mostly for health problems.

The eleven players include Pro Bowl safety Antoine Bethea, cornerback Kelvin Hayden, right tackle Ryan Diem, tight end Dallas Clark, wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, and safety Bob Sanders.

Bethea has been out with a broken right hand since he cracked a bone Wednesday. Clark still has a slight concussion and missed several days of practices. Diem hurt his back and Hayden has been resting a hamstring injury. Coach Jim Caldwell said that Gonzalez was ruled out because he strained hamstring recently. Sanders is still on the physically unable to perform list.
